ATR Advantages and ATR Reliability

Abstract:


ATR is the world leader in the market for regional aircraft up to 90 seats. Established in November 1981, ATR is a joint partnership between two major European aeronautics players, Airbus and Leonardo. ATR manufactures two sizes of turboprop aircraft, the 70-seat ATR 72 and the 50-seat ATR 42. Both aircraft benefit from fuel, emissions and cost efficiencies provided by turboprop engines.


ATR has displayed an outstanding dispatch reliability performance of 99.61%. ATR continues to support the customer in maintaining such high reliability, by means of enhanced technical, flight ops and spares support via “follow the sun “ concept for 24/7/365 day support, new organizations(C4) with reinforced team and new tools & e- services developed.

Michael started his career as line maintenance engineer for a French airline. Later he joined ATR and worked in various roles as FSR, C4 (AOG support) and training instructor in many challenging environments around the world. His main role as FSR today is to maintain customer ATR fleet in top reliable and airworthiness condition. He is also involved with sharing his ATR experience with the Engineers, middle management and higher management of his dedicated Airline.
