RELIABILITY CONTROL MANAGEMENT

Abstract:

In aviation industry maintenance is considered to be one of the key factors in the business successfulness of an air carrier. By this, efforts are made to achieve maximal aircraft utilization with level of safety as high as possible and minimal costs. As a result, aiming to increase profitability and monitoring the reliability of an aircraft, its components and systems is of great benefit to air carriers.

This can be achieved by using Reliability Control Program (RCP) which can be defined as a combination of statistic monitoring and recording of events associated with airworthiness of an aircraft. The result obtained by monitoring reliability in operation may serve as a basis for supplementing or modifying the aircraft maintenance program. This seminar will discuss overview of RCP, regulatory requirement, and seven basic step to run RCP.
